Microneedling vs Microdermabrasion

These are two of our most popular treatments here at La Chelé but each offer their own unique benefits!

Microneedling

Do you struggle with fine lines and winkles? Then Microneedling could be perfect for you! It is a cosmetic procedure that uses collagen induction therapy to rejuvenate the skin. Microneedling creates micro injuries in the skin, prompting the body to create new skin in response. By stimulating collagen and elastin, the skin will appear more youthful and revitalized. At La Chelé, we use the only FDA approved Microneedling device, the skinpen. This device can penetrate anywhere from .25 mm to 2.5 mm in depth, depending on the treatment area and desired outcome.

Microdermabrasion

Looking for an overall skin refresh to eliminate unwanted dirt and debris? Well, Microdermabrasion is used to remove dead skin, renew skin tone, clear blackheads, help with texture, and lessen the appearance of enlarged pores. This minimally invasive procedure uses a diamond tipped wand and suction to clear the skin of congestion and aid in overall exfoliation. Microdermabrasion is not recommended for patients with severe Rosacea, because it may exacerbate broken blood vessels. If you are Rosaic, a Dermaplane or Photofacial would be better suited for your skin concerns!
