RHA Redensity

What is Teoxane Redensity?

RHA (Resilient Hyaluronic Acid) Redensity is a hyaluronic acid (HA) based injectable filler that both hydrates and repairs the skin. Its unique formula allows this particular filler to hydrate and rejuvenate some of the most fine, superficial lines. It’s designed for high-movement areas to create a natural appearance at rest and in motion. Redensity can be utilized in the treatment of fine wrinkles in the face and neck and provide natural, long lasting results.

How long does Redensity last?

RHA Redensity can improve fine lines/wrinkles for up to 12 months.

How do we inject Teoxane Redensity?

Redensity is injected superficially into the skin with an ultrafine needle to plump and smooth away fine lines and wrinkles. This product can also be injected with a blunt tip needle also referred to as a cannula, but usually done with needle to get more superficially. Your provider will determine the best method for you during your appointment.

Where do we inject Redensity?

Redensity is FDA approved to treat perioral rhytids, which are lines around the mouth (“lip lines”, “smokers lines”). It can also be used to treat other areas of the face and neck, such as infraorbital hollows, neck lines (“tech neck”, “necklace lines”), and nasolabial folds to name a few. This product is meant to be injected very superficially, even more so than other fillers, to effectively smooth out any creases. The viscosity or RHA Redensity is thinner than other types of filler, which is the reason we are able to inject this way. This superficial filler is NEW to the United States and the only of it’s class.

What is the downtime?

As a filler classic rule of thumb, there is less downtime the deeper you inject and more downtime ( redness, bruising, lumps) the more superficially you inject. So since Redensity is the most superficial filler on the market, do not plan it the day before a wedding. Give yourself a good 1-2 weeks of potential downtime.

Which other Teoxane RHA fillers do you offer?

We offer RHA 2, 3, and 4 in addition to RHA Redensity. RHA 2 is often used for lip lines and volume. RHA 3 is used for deep lines and jowls, and RHA 4 is great for volume in cheeks and the jawline.
