Ultherapy for MEN. Get back the definition in your Face and Neck.

What is Ultherapy?

Ultherapy™ for men is the latest skin tightening procedure. It is non-surgical and noninvasive and is commonly referred to as the lunch-time lift. The bottom-line: Ultherapy for men is the best skin tightening system available.

Ultherapy (by Ulthera) uses ultrasound technology to see, target, lift and tighten lax tissue. It also stimulates collagen growth (the 2″ x 4″ studs that support the skin) for long lasting results. Most men undergoing Ultherapy are seeking to tighten skin around their eyes or want to get rid of the dreaded turkey neck to redefine a fit and masculine jawline.

Changes to your face occur gradually over time. The face may begin to lose its tone and elasticity. For many men who are not ready for a face-lift, we have some exciting new technology you may wish to consider. Ulthera™ is an FDA approved, non-surgical system that can help lift and restore the facial tissues, including the brow, cheek, neck and treat lip lines.

Ultherapy uses safe and effective ultrasound technology to see below the surface of the skin, down to the area of the soft tissue, where ultrasound waves are safely and precisely direcedt. The selective heating effect of the ultrasound stimulates your body’s own collagen production and over several months, results in a face and brow that is visibly lifted. The treatment takes between 1-3 hours depending on number of areas treated, and there is no downtime after treatment.

Who is a good candidate for Ultherapy?
A good candidate for Ultherapy is someone with skin that has relaxed to the point of looking and feeling less firm than desired. A lowered brow line or sagging skin of the eyelids, for instance, is often the first sign of maturing skin.

What does Ultherapy feel like?
Comfort levels vary from person to person. While many people do not feel the need for any pain medication during the procedure, we currently recommend using a local anesthetic to help you remain comfortable throughout the treatment process. Advanced techniques in Ultherapy utilize many more lines of energy, resulting in improved results. Many patients describe the sensation a momentary prickling or heat beneath the skin. This is the ultrasound energy being delivered to the tissue, which is how Ultherapy lifts and tightens the facial tissues.

Before Your Treatment
The first thing you will want to do is schedule a one-on-one consultation with an Ultherapy provider. During this session, your practitioner will address your concerns, assess your skin and determine if you are a candidate for the treatment. Once you book your Ultherapy® procedure, you won’t need to follow any special preparations or skincare regimens in advance of the treatment.

During Your Treatment
After cleansing the skin and identifying the specific areas to be treated, your Ultherapy practitioner will apply the ultrasound gel and place the smooth treatment applicator against your skin. Next, your provider will use Ultherapy’s ultrasound imaging to first see deep within the skin to determine optimal placement of the treatment energy, and then deliver the focused ultrasound energy beneath the skin’s surface. During the treatment delivery, you will feel tiny amounts of energy being deposited to precise depths, indicating that the collagen-building process has been initiated

After Your Treatment
With Ultherapy, there is no downtime! You can return to your normal activities immediately after your procedure without any post-treatment restrictions or requirements. Your skin might appear flushed at first, but the redness should disappear within a few hours. Some patients experience slight swelling, tingling or tenderness to the touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature.
