Morpheus8

What is Morpheus8?

The InMode Morpheus8 is a next-generation fractional microneedling treatment to improve texture and tightening of skin. This treatment stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis.  Penetrating deep into the skin and fat, Morpheus8 ‘morphs’ aging skin into a more desired smooth and sleek appearance, for all skin tones.  Morpheus8 has the ability to penetrate deeper into the skin than any other microneedling device, going as deep as 4mm.  It is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro-pins to renew deeper layers of the skin with minimal patient downtime.

Morpheus8 is customizable to each patient!  We have various tips to change out on our handpieces to tackle all of your concerns. We offer a regular tip, a resurfacing tip for tougher acne scarring and wrinkles, a prime tip, and a body handpiece!

The Morpheus8 Prime, is used to target smaller areas, like the eye area and around the mouth. We have seen a lot of incredible results with the prime tip, and its a discounted add-on to any treatment same-day!

Our Morpheus8 resurfacing tip is remarkable as an add-on for crepiness on the eye, lids or neck. It does leave more swelling and redness for the eye area, so plan accordingly.

Morpheus8 can be used for wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks, surgical scars and more! Interested in tackling other areas besides your face? Try our Morpheus8 Body!

What is Morpheus8 Body?

MORPHEUS8 Body is the most cutting-edge technology for tightening skin on the body.

It is a 40-pin handpiece for our MORPHEUS8 device, allowing us to penetrate larger areas on the body up to 8mm deep. It is the only technology that is FDA-cleared to provide subdermal adipose tissue remodeling at this depth. This is a minimally invasive procedure, and can treat large areas at the deepest levels of RF that exist.

Almost everyone is a candidate, especially if you have loose skin, but we will schedule an evaluation with one of our Medical Providers to determine if this is the best treatment for you. Common concerns we address with this treatment are post-surgical scarring, stretch marks, skin tightening, especially after pregnancy, and addressing skin changes from weight loss and weight gain. This is the perfect “Mommy Makeover” without worrying about much downtime or surgery!

Who is a candidate for Morpheus8?

Treating with Morpheus8 is safe for all skin tones. It is designed to address texture concerns, wrinkles, scarring, and collagen. This collagen bomb treatment therefore is best for most ages who are looking to address any of these concerns, or help prevent signs of aging. Who can preform Morpheus8 treatments?

Only a licensed medical professional such as a medical aesthetician should preform Morpheus8 treatments.

Does Morpheus8 help with under eyes?

Yes! Morpheus8 is not only able to tighten skin around the eye area but also melt fat to reduce the appearance of bags under the eyes.

Which is better, Morpheus8 or Ultherapy?

One treatment is not better than the other, and they both target different layers – Morpheus8 is able to tighten skin and reduce fat while Ultherapy is able to tighten the muscle itself. We recommend coming for a complimentary consultation to see which treatment might be best for you!

What is the difference between Sylfirm X and Morpheus8?

Sylfirm X is able to treat the eye area as well as eye lids where Morpheus8 is only able to treat around the eye itself. Morpheus8 is also able to treat different parts of the body and Sylfirm is used for the face only.

How is Morpheus8 different from other microneedling with radiofrequency devices?

Since the handpiece has a capability of reaching up to 4mm for the face and 8mm for the body, there is increased potential for more dramatic results than other microneedling devices that can only penetrate the skin as deep as 2mm. It also is equipped with Burst Mode RF to treat multiple layers at once. This helps minimize skin injury and to lessen the time you are being treated versus other microneedling with radiofrequency devices. Studies were also shown with 3 treatments versus many other companies which need to do 4-6 treatments to give similar results!

When will I see results for Morpheus8?

You will see visible tightening within a few days, but typically after three weeks the most noticeable results appear.  Improvements continue up to three to six months after treatment, as collagen takes time to build. With Body Morpheus8, we see continued improvements in skin quality up to a year!

How long is the Morpheus8 Treatment?

The Morpheus8 treatment is typically around an hour depending on which area of the body you are treating. We also include an hour before the treatment for adequate numbing time with a topical numbing cream.

How many treatments of Morpheus8 will I need?

We typically recommend Morpheus8 treatments in a package of 3 sessions, one month apart, for optimal results. Body treatments may be every 4-8 weeks depending on healing so start in the winter to have the best results by summer! After the initial 3 treatments, we recommend treating 1 to 2 times per year for maintenance of collagen production.

Does Morpheus8 Hurt?

Morpheus8 is one of our moderate treatments on a pain scale, but we apply topical numbing cream and also offer Pro-Nox Nitrous Oxide for comfort during the treatment or, if available, our cryotherapy air chilling device. With these modalities, patients are able to tolerate the treatment!

What is the downtime for Morpheus8?

Downtime for Morpheus8 is minimal on the face. Makeup can be applied immediately but we recommend 28 hours if possible. Patients should expect to see micro-lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to 1 week depending on treatment parameters.

On the neck, there are few sebaceous glands, so without the oil healing time can be up to 1 week looking red.

On the body it can be common to take 4 weeks to fully heal micro-lesions due to our aggressive treatments and the lack of sebaceous glands, but it will be worth the wait!

How can I optimize my results?

If you are a candidate, AccuTite or FaceTite may be paired with Morpheus8 for optimal results in the neck and jowls. These procedures would be done by our Physician, Lisa Espinoza, MD.

How long does it take for Morpheus8 to show results?

Results can be seen within a few weeks however, the skin will continue to produce new collagen for up to 90 days post treatment. This means results will continue during the healing process.

Does Morpheus8 dissolve fillers?

No, Morpheus8 does not dissolve fillers however, we do not recommend treating with Morpheus8 directly after fillers as the fillers need time to integrate into the tissues, usually taking around 2 weeks.

What is the aftercare for Morpheus8?

Post-procedure, we recommend that you should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended that patients use a good, broad spectrum sunscreen 72 hours port-treatment. Our La Chelé Line Free Serum is our must-have recommended post-treatment option with peptides, copper, and hyaluronic acid.

Remember that you want the very best on your skin once you’ve opened microchannels. Another great option is the award-winning TNS Advanced+ Serum!

How long do Morpheus8 results last for?

We recommend maintenance treatments every 6-12 months to keep the skin in a collagenesis mode.

Can I exercise after Morpheus8?

We do advise waiting at least 24 hours to allow the microchannels to close. You may want to wait to work out until your skin is back to baseline as sometimes sweat can irritate freshly mirconeedled skin.

How to prepare for Morpheus8?

Patients should avoid blood thinning agents (unless medically necessary) to reduce to chance of bruising. Patients should stop the use of Retinoids and chemical exfoliants for a few days prior to treatment. Alcohol should be avoided the night before to also reduce the risk of bruising.
