Restylane Eyelight
The makers of Restylane have reimagined the hyaluronic acid filler, Restylane-L, as Restylane Eyelight specifically for the under eye area. Our Medical Providers have been injecting Restylane for years at an expert level and are very familiar and experienced with this product.
What is Restylane Eyelight?
Restylane Eyelight is the first and only product in the U.S. to use NASHA Technology to improve the appearance of undereye hollows. Undereye hollows, also known as dark shadows, can give the appearance of tired or aging eyes. This FDA-approved filler is a cosmetic dermal filler made up of natural hyaluronic acid, which the body naturally produces. This product can be used under the eye area to reduce the look of darkness and address the loss of volume, giving you a rejuvenated look.
How does Restylane Eyelight work?
Restylane Eyelight is injected in small amounts. Once Restylane is injected into the skin, it works with the body’s own hyaluronic acid to create volume; lasting up to 18 months.
What does Restylane Eyelight feel like?
This first injection you might feel a little pinch. There is numbing in the syringe, so after that takes effect, the rest of the treatment you will just feel a little pressure where the needle is, it will otherwise be pain free!
When will I see results?
The effects of Restylane Eyelight can be seen immediately and are best two weeks following your treament. However, Injections can cause some swelling and bruising, so it can take 2-4 weeks for the filler to settle fully. Click here for some of our bruise treatment modalities.
How much does Restylane Eyelight cost?
The pricing varies based how much filler is needed for Restylane Eyelight. FDA studies show the average used anywhere from 1-2 syringes per face. Pricing can be determined in our complimentary consultations with our highly educated Medical Providers.
What is the downtime for Restylane Eyelight?
There is no downtime. You may experience some tenderness, swelling, or bruising to the injection site. It is recommended avoid exercise 24 hours after the treatment. The medical injectors at La Chele specialize in cannula use of the tear trough that can decrease bruising by 75%. Also, that studies have shown that you can require less undereye filler by first injecting the cheeks. So at La Chele we will give you a comprehensive analysis to see if that is the appropriate first step.
