How does BOTOX work?

How long does BOTOX take to be injected? Does BOTOX hurt?
When you schedule an appointment at La Chelé Medical Aesthetics, you will meet with one of our highly experienced injectors who will perform a complimentary consultation to assess your skin and your goals. During this appointment, your injector will determine the appropriate treatment for any areas you wish to address.
The treatment itself takes less than 10 minutes and since BOTOX ® is what we do day in and day out, we have perfected the process to be relatively painless. Since BOTOX is such a minimally invasive procedure, there is little to no downtime after your procedure.
When will I see results from BOTOX? How long does BOTOX last?
You may begin to notice subtle changes within the first 24 to 48 hours after your treatment. These results will continue to intensify over the next 5-14 days. BOTOX is at its peak strength 2 weeks post injection, and will begin to slowly fade over the next few months.
Botox is FDA approved to last up to 4 months. We typically recommend coming in for treatments every 12-16 weeks for optimal results.
