What sets Sciton Moxi apart as a unique skin solution?
Sciton Moxi utilizes non-ablative laser energy to revitalize skin and can be done on your lunch break. Moxi can be used alone or in combination with BBL or Halo. Moxi creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin, which will promote the body to heal and thus build collagen. This laser treatment targets a specific layer of the skin, leaving the remaining skin unaffected, therefore there is little to no downtime.
How can Sciton Moxi improve your skin’s appearance?
Moxi’s gentle fractionated wavelength corrects pigment issues and improves both tone and texture. Our advanced Laser Technicians will review your skin concerns and together craft a personalized treatment plan. What can you expect during a Sciton Moxi treatment session?
A treatment with Moxi is both comfortable and quick! The prep and treatment will take approximately 30 minutes, with the actual treatment only taking 12-15 minutes! Our Laser Technicians will glide the laser across your skin and you will feel slight warmth, which means you are on your way to glowing and clearer skin. After this, you can return to your regularly scheduled day! We always apply sunscreen post-treatment and ask that you continue to re-apply every day.
Is there downtime with Moxi?
Post-treatment effects are minimal. The day following your treatment, your skin may appear red and if you look hard enough, you may see micro-channels from the laser. This resembles small dots on the skin which look a lot like freckles. Not to worry, the redness and appearance of small dots fades quickly revealing glowy beautiful skin. We recommend that you continue your skincare routine of cleansing, moisturizing, and as always, applying sunscreen.
How many sessions of Moxi will I need?
The number of sessions for a Moxi treatment will vary depending on your individual aesthetic goals. At La Chelé, we offer complimentary consultations with our experienced medical providers who will discuss these goals with you. Typically, 3-4 treatments are recommended 4-5 weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments as needed.
How does Sciton Moxi compare to other skin rejuvenation treatments?
